
Retail Claims Team Manager - mat leave contract
Duties
This role is responsible for the all client/claimant and people management activities related to the Team. This includes responsibility for an allocated Client portfolio. Key components of the role are proactive client engagement, team and individual performance management, development, workflow/workload and service level management
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you require:
- Knowledge of Life Insurance & claims management practices
- Demonstrable experience in managing & leading teams
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Good relationship management and negotiation skills
- Solid knowledge of MS office suite
- Minimum 3 years in similar role in Financial Services/ Insurance Industry
- Demonstrable understanding of claims administration and support services
- Tertiary qualification in Business or related discipline
- Ability to work at part of a team or autonomously
